Where can I find my TeamBoard interactive whiteboard serial number?See Answer

The TeamBoard serial number can be found in two locations. The most easily accessible location is on bottom frame of the TeamBoard, right side, most easily seen by looking up from the floor. The TeamBoard serial number can also be found on the back of the TeamBoard, center.

N500 is not a TeamBoard product. Instead N500 is a certification test by the Australian Standards association so our Australian customers can be assured our products our safe and meet all Australian laws and regulations.

What dry-erase markers can I use?See Answer

New TeamBoards ship with BIC Great Erase Bold dry-erase markers, however you can use any solvent (keytone) based dry-erase markers.

Please download Maintenance Instructions for our dry-erase EVS surface. In addition to surface maintenance, occasionally clean the bottom sensor on the T4 interactive whiteboard from the dry-erase dust.

At this time TeamBoard/TeamBoard software is not compatible with mobile devices including iOS, Android and BlackBerry. However, we have developed an online platform www.whiteboard.com for basic whiteboarding functionality, compatible with all operating systems.

The calibrate icon is greyed out. What do I do?See Answer
A

This issue is usually caused by the TeamBoard being disconnected. Please verify that all cables are connected and the USB plugged in. Please make sure you are using TeamBoard Suite 6.0.2 software. Please also ensure you are only using the supplied parts for your TeamBoard and that you are not running a RJ45 cable longer than 25’. If the cables and USB are plugged in correctly and the calibrate icon is still greyed out, disconnect the TeamBoard USB and plug it into another USB port on your computer. If the calibrate icon is still greyed out then you will need to uninstall and re-install TeamBoard Suite. If after re-installing the software the calibrate icon is still greyed out please contact TeamBoard Tech Support.

What is the controller?See Answer

The TeamBoard controller is present only with TeamBoard T3 models and is a black or silver box located on the back of the TeamBoard, right corner. It translates your touches on the TeamBoard into data that registers with your computer.

What is a RJ45 cable?See Answer
A

The RJ45 cable is present only with TeamBoard T3 models and is a cable used to transmit data from the TeamBoard controller to the USB adapter. The RJ45 cable is also called an Ethernet cord, internet cord, or network cable. The RJ45 cable supplied with your TeamBoard is usually grey in colour and 25’ (7.62m) long.

The USB adapter is present only with TeamBoard T3 models and is a black adapter, 7” (17.78cm) long, usually with a red TeamBoard logo on it. It is used to connect the TeamBoard to your USB port.

Do I need to use a shielded RJ45 cable?See Answer

Yes, it is strongly recommended that you use a shielded RJ45 cable as the shielding prevents interference from affecting your TeamBoard experience.

How do I extend a RJ45 cable beyond the factory supplied 25’?See Answer
A

To extend a RJ45 cable supplied with your interactive whiteboard, you need to purchase a USB extender (not offered by TeamBoard) and an additional RJ45 cable (offered by TeamBoard). We recommend NTI USB extender and CAT5 or CAT6 Shielded RJ45 cable of your desired cable length (up to 125’).

How do I get the TeamBoard UST Projector 0.19 projected image to fill the active board area?See Answer
A

To get the projected image to fill the entire TeamBoard active area, you must adjust the bolts on the fixed wall projector mount. There 4 front/back adjustment bolts, 2 rotation screws, 4 fine tune adjustment bolts, and 4 vertical adjustment screws. There is no image on my board. What do I do?See Answer
A

There may be a couple of reasons for no image displayed on your board: a) You do not have a projector. To display an image on the TeamBoard you must have a projector (sold separately). b) Your projector is turned off. A projector must be turned on and facing the board for an image to be displayed on the TeamBoard. If you projector won’t turn on or you are not sure how to do this please contact your projector manufacturer.
